Service Overview
The Telecommunications Access Group is a specialty practice group at Owens Wright LLP. Our largest client is Rogers Communications Inc. and its various subsidiaries. In addition, we have acted directly or as an agent for Shaw Cable, Cogeco Cable, Beanfield Technologies SBA Canada, Terago as well as assisted landlords and property owners. Our lawyers have participated as speakers and seminar leaders and have written papers on subjects of interest to landlords, property owners and their agents from the perspective of Local Exchange Carriers and Broadcast Distribution Undertakings. We have designed simplified forms of easement, lease and contractual licenses and rights of use that take into consideration up to date changes in real property legislation, case law and federal regulatory decisions and rulings.
We also advise on the acquisition and sale of telecommunications businesses, network roll-out and strategic procurement of telecommunications assets and services and joint ventures in the telecommunications sector.
