Background
Gary graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1981. Following his call to the bar, Gary started his own firm, and soon joined the firm of Merrick, Pollock, Grubner, Fried and Goldfarb, where his practice concentrated on real estate law. Gary moved to Bratty and Partners, where he worked for developers doing subdivision and condominiums, as well as all other aspects of real estate law. Following his stint at Bratty and Partners, Gary moved his practice to Meyer, Wassenaar and Banach, LLP which eventually became Goldfarb Banach, LLP and practiced there for over 20 years prior to joining Owens, Wright LLP, in 2021.
Gary now practices primarily commercial real estate law, in the area of purchases, sales and financing. He acts for condominium developers in the preparation of condominium documents, development work, and closing of unit sales. Gary also acts for a number of private lenders in providing secured financing.
