Background

David is a partner at Owens Wright LLP, practicing in the area of commercial real estate. He has expertise in a broad range of commercial real estate matters including acquisitions and dispositions, subdivision and condominium development, real estate joint venture structuring, complex land assemblies, real estate financing and title correction matters.

David represents clients in land development matters assisting in the completion of the necessary conveyancing work relating thereto, including the completion of Land Titles Absolute/Plus applications, easement agreements, and the negotiation and registration of municipal agreements.  He also represents clients in the registration of subdivision and condominium plans, and the completion of unit closings for such projects as well as the preparation of the disclosure materials and agreements of purchase and sale associated therewith.

David regularly acts for clients in a general counsel role and has experience in various general corporate matters. He has represented real estate developers and property managers, financial institutions, food industry producers, national and regional construction companies, and hotel developers and operators in the negotiation, structuring and completion of a variety of complex business, development and financing transactions.  David focuses on providing practical solutions to complex business and legal issues.
